Meghdoot 7.9.2 Upgardation Procedure .......


MEGHDOOT 7.9.2 Upgradation Procedure:

Ensure whether the office is upgraded to Meghdoot 7.9.1 . If not first upgrade the software to  7.9.1 version.
 Take backup of all data bases.


 Upgrade in the following sequence.

1) ePayment:
     Rename the existing ePaymentClient.exe as ePaymentClient_7.9.1
    Copy the new ePaymentClient.exe to the application path.
    Upgrade the eCounter database by running all the three exl files available in the ePaymnet folder.
2) Point of Sale:
      Rename the existing PointOfSale.exe, Cash.dll and WNX.dll as PointOfSale_7.9.1.exe,   Cash_7.9.1.dll and WNX_7.9.1.dll
      
     Copy the new PointOfSale.exe, Cash.Dll, WNX.dLL files to the application path.
      
     Register Cash.dll, WNX.dll files by double clicking on each of them.
      
     Upgrade the Counter database by running all the three Counter exl files using the script tool.

3) Despatch :
      Rename the existing Despatch.ex as Despatch_7.9.1.exe
      Copy the new Despatch.exe to the application path
4) Postman :
      Rename the existing Postman.exe, EMODelivery.dll 

 and EVPDelivery.dll files as Postman_7.9.1.exe, 

 EMODelivery_7.9.1.dll and EVPDelivery_7.9.1.dll
  
  Copy the new Postman.exe, EMODelivery.dll and 

 EVPDelivery.dll files to the application folder

    Register the new EMODelivery.dll and EVPDelivery.dll files by double clicking on them.

     Run Postman.exl with script tool

    If Postman and SpeedNet databases are in different server machines, please run the
 Postman-2.exl file available inside the folder “If SpeedNet and Meghdoot are in different Servers”.

5) Treasury:
     Rename the existing Treasurer.exe as
Treasurer _7.9.1.exe
  
   Copy the new Treasurer.exe in the same location.

   Run the Treasury-1.exl and Treasury-2 .exl files using the script tool

6) RNet Communication:

  Rename the existing RNet Communication exe as RNet Communication_7.9.1.exe

  Copy the new RNet Communication exe in the same location    

7) BNPL Parcel:

    Rename existing PBC_Project.exe as 

 PBC_Project_7.9.1.exe
  
    Copy the new PBC_Project.exe in the same location

     Run BNPLPARCEL.exl using Script tool
8) eMO :
             
    Rename the existing eMO.exe as eMO_7.9.1.exe, 

 eMOClient.exe as eMOClient_7.9.1.exe,

NREGAeMOUpdateCheck.exe as 
NREGAeMOUpdateCheck_7.9.1.exe, IFSUrgent.dll as
IFSUrgent_7.9.1.dll

   Copy the new eMO.exe, eMOClient.exe, NREGAeMOUpdateCheck.exe, IFSUrgent.dll to the application path

  Register the IFSUrgent.dll by double clicking on the same

  Upgrade eMO Database by running the script files emoVersion7.9.2.exl, eMOOffices21072014.exl,

eMOPincodes21072014.exel using script tool

9) Accounts:

    Rename the existing Accounts.exe as Accounts_7.9.1.exe, CashBook.dll as CashBook_7.9.1.dll

   Copy the new Accounts.exe and CashBook .dll to the application path

   Register CashBook .dll by double clicking on the same

   Run Incometax.exl and CashBook.exl using the script tool

10) AccountsPBS:   

   Rename the existing Schedule.exe as Schedule_7.9.1.exe

   Copy the new Schedule .exe to the application path.

   Run Pension.exl using the script tool

11)AccountsMISClient(DET):

Rename AccountHeads.xml file as 

 AccountHeads_7.9.1.xml
