Organisation of Computers

Computer components are 3 types
1. Input Devices
2. Output Devices
3. Central Processing Unit (CPU)

Input Devices :-

    The devices which are used to give data ( input data ) to the Systems, called input devices.

Examples:
   Keyboard, Mouse, Scanner, Punched Cards, Optical Mark Reader (OMR), Optical Character Reader (OCR), Barcode Reader (BCR), Magnetic Ink Character Recogniser (MICR), Light pen, TouchScreen, Joystick ,etc.

Output Devices:-
    
    The devices which are use to produce result are called output devices.

Examples:
    Monitor, Printer, Speaker, etc.
Central Processing Unit (CPU) :-

    The major part of the computer is CPU, which performs calculations, logical operations, controlles data and stores data.
   CPU can be classified into 3 categories.

1. Memory Unit
2. Control Unit
3. ALU (Arithmatic and Logic Unit)
